SAN FLORIANO PARK
The rural park "San Floriano" is a 55-hectare site comprising fields cultivated with heirloom fruit species in order to save them from extinction, as well as pastures dedicated to specific livestocks whose genetic diversity is an asset to be preserved.
In the park there is also an area dedicated to bee-keeping, officinal plants and a synergistic garden created for educational purposes.
The park features also some marcite, water-meadows resulting from a particular farming technique used for permanent pastures.
Noteworthy is the little church called "Chiesetta", dating back to earlier than 1000 AD, featuring beautiful 13th-15th century frescoes inside.
